Fridays nights are getting metal at the SU!
Welcome to THE FØRGE Fridays at the SU. A brand new club night forged for fans of alternative, punk, rock, metal and pop punk.
If your playlists are stacked with the heaviest riffs, screaming choruses and iconic anthems then this is the night for you.
Reserve your FREE ticket in advance here or pay £1 on the door. Grab your mates and get ready to head bang the night away. With multiple bars at student-friendly prices, we’ll keep the energy going until the early hours of Saturday.
You’ll be hearing from your favourite bands including: Fall Out Boy, Slip Knot, Green Day, ACDC, Iron Maiden, Sleep Token, Guns & Roses, Linkin Park, A Day to Remember, Bad Omens, Blink 182, Paramore, Bring Me the Horizon and so much more.

Event policies
Can I bring a plus one to this event?
Current University of Plymouth students can buy up to two tickets per account - one for themselves and one for a guest who doesn’t need to be a student.
If you're bringing a guest, you'll need to purchase their ticket on their behalf. On the day, your guest must bring photographic ID that proves they're over the age of 18.
Event photography and video
Please be aware that some of the University of Plymouth Students' Union events may be attended by UPSU approved photographers and videographers, for capturing content to be used in UPSU and University online and offline marketing and promotional materials, for example webpage, social media, or flyers.
If, for whatever reason, you or a member of your group do not wish to be photographer, please make yourself known to staff working at the event on arrival or to the photographer.
Do I need to bring ID?
Yes. Our nightclub events are only open to those over the age of 18. It is a legal requirement for our staff to check your ID if they believe that you're under the age of 25. Valid forms of ID include: driving license (provisional or full), passport, PASS Card, Citizen Card.
Please note that your University Card is not acceptable ID as it does not detail your date of birth.
