Want to improve your sailing skills? We have partnered with sea regs to offer three types of heavily discounted courses to cater to everyone’s abilities.
The dates are:
- 7/4/25 to 11/4/25 Costal Skipper and Competent Crew.
- 14/4/25 to 18/4/25 Day Skipper and Competent Crew
- 19/5/25 to 23/5/25 Day Skipper and Competent Crew
Coastal skipper:
- Costs £550 per person, usually goes for £800 ( excluding food and mooring fees)
- 5 days, 4 nights on a boat.
- Allows chartering of boats in most countries, including the UK.
Prerequisites:
- navigation to yacht master/ coastal skipper level.
- Boat handling to day skipper level.
What you will learn:
- How to skipper a yacht on coastal passages day and night.
- Passage planning
- Preparation for sea
- Pilotage Passage making
- Yacht handling under power
- Yacht handling under sail
- Adverse weather conditions
- Emergency situations
Day skipper:
- Costs £550 per person, usually goes for £800 ( excluding food and mooring fees)
- 5 days, 4 nights on a boat.
- Allows chartering of boats in some European countries, mostly in the Mediterranean.
Prerequisites:
- Theory up to day skipper theory level.
- Basic navigation and helmsmanship.
What you will learn:
- How to skipper a yacht in familiar waters by day.
- Navigation
- seamanship
- boat handling
- pilotage.
Competent crew:
- Costs £525 per person, usually goes for £800, ( excluding food and mooring fees)
- 5 days, 4 nights on a boat.
- Allows you to be comfortable on a boat.
Prerequisites: none
