The University of Plymouth Rowing Club (UPRC) will undertake its annual 48-Hour Continuous Row from 12:00pm on 20th March to 12:00pm on 22nd March to raise funds for Hugs Children’s Cancer Charity and to support the ongoing development of the rowing club.
Club members will row continuously on an erg for the full 48 hours, working in organised shifts to ensure there is no break in activity. Funds raised will contribute to the vital support Hugs provides to children and families affected by cancer and help support UPRC develop further as a club.
During the daytime, the event will take place in Old Town Square outside Drake Circus, where members of the public can engage with the challenge and donate. Overnight, the row will continue inside a designated University of Plymouth building to ensure participant safety.
This endurance challenge reflects UPRC’s commitment to teamwork, resilience, and community engagement.
